Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 Yellow Onion

  • Garlic (Jar or Fresh)

  • 1 Frozen Bag Mixed Veggies (Peas/Carrots)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 Egg (Egg Wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dice and cook in an InstaPot or a skillet until fully cooked. If you're using a Rotisserie Chicken, cut and dice.

  3. Toss the diced garlic, and onion with 1 tablespoon of butter, salt, and pepper in a skillet. Cook and stir until tender and slightly caramelized.

  4. Use the chicken broth to make the chicken gravy. Follow instructions on the gravy packet.

  5. Once the veggies, gravy and chicken are cooked, mix them together in a bowl.

  6. Transfer the mixture to a pan and add the uncooked biscuits to the top of the mixture.

  7. Mix the egg in a bowl and apply the egg wash to the top of the biscuits.

  8. Put the pan in the oven and bake for the cooking time the biscuits instruct.

  9. Take out, let cool, and ENJOY!

This meal is great for meal prep too. Store leftovers in airtight containers and reheat for a quick lunch or dinner.

Tips for Cooking Easy and Delicious Meals

  • Use fresh ingredients whenever possible. Fresh herbs, vegetables, and quality proteins make a big difference in flavor.

  • Prep ahead by chopping vegetables or marinating proteins the night before. This saves time during busy days.

  • Keep pantry staples stocked like olive oil, garlic, spices, and canned tomatoes. They help you whip up meals quickly.

  • Experiment with seasoning to suit your taste. Don’t be afraid to add a pinch of chili flakes or a squeeze of lemon juice to brighten dishes.

  • Invest in simple kitchen tools such as a good knife, cutting board, and non-stick skillet to make cooking easier and more enjoyable.

Trying new recipes can be a fun way to expand your cooking skills and enjoy meals that satisfy both your taste buds and your schedule. These recipes show that you don’t need complicated techniques or rare ingredients to create delicious food.
